STOP FEEDING THE BEAST

The Future We Create for Our Children

There comes a time in every generation when people must pause and ask themselves a difficult question:

What kind of world are we leaving behind for our children?

When we look around today, we see division, anger, fear, violence, corruption, and endless conflict. We see people turning against one another because of differences in race, religion, politics, wealth, social status, or personal beliefs. We see a world where outrage often receives more attention than kindness, and where fear spreads faster than understanding.

Much of what was once hidden is now openly visible. The attitudes, behaviors, and systems that thrive on division are no longer operating entirely in the shadows. They are displayed openly for all to see. The question is no longer whether these problems exist. The question is whether we will continue to support them.

The truth is that every generation inherits a world shaped by the choices of those who came before it.

If we truly love our children, we should want more for them than survival. We should want them to inherit a world that is safer, wiser, kinder, and more compassionate than the one we inherited ourselves.

Love is not merely something we say.

Love is something we build.

A loving parent does not simply provide food and shelter. A loving parent teaches values. A loving parent teaches empathy, responsibility, honesty, respect, and compassion. These lessons become the foundation upon which future generations stand.

Unfortunately, many people unknowingly teach the opposite.

Children learn hatred by observing hatred.

Children learn prejudice by observing prejudice.

Children learn fear by observing fear.

Children learn violence by observing violence.

The future is often created long before a child reaches adulthood.

It begins in the home.

It begins with the examples set by parents, teachers, leaders, and communities.

Every hateful word becomes a lesson.

Every act of cruelty becomes a lesson.

Every act of kindness becomes a lesson.

Every act of compassion becomes a lesson.

The choice belongs to us.

Many people today are feeding what I call "the Beast."

The Beast is not a monster hiding under the bed.

The Beast is a symbol.

It represents everything within society that grows stronger through fear, hatred, division, greed, ignorance, and selfishness.

Every time we spread hatred, we feed the Beast.

Every time we encourage fear, we feed the Beast.

Every time we dehumanize another person, we feed the Beast.

Every time we choose outrage over understanding, we feed the Beast.

The Beast survives because people continue giving it energy.

Imagine what would happen if millions of people simply stopped.

What if people chose understanding instead of conflict?

What if people chose compassion instead of judgment?

What if people chose cooperation instead of division?

The Beast would begin to starve.

Many people believe the world's problems can only be solved by governments, institutions, or powerful leaders. Yet history repeatedly shows that lasting change begins with ordinary people making better choices.

A better world is not created through slogans.

A better world is created through daily actions.

Teach your children kindness.

Teach your children empathy.

Teach your children to stand up for those who are vulnerable.

Teach your children that human worth is not determined by race, wealth, religion, appearance, or social status.

Teach them that every human being deserves dignity and respect.

Teach them that strength without compassion becomes cruelty.

Teach them that intelligence without wisdom becomes dangerous.

Teach them that power without love becomes destructive.

The future is not something that simply happens to us.

The future is something we create.

Every conversation matters.

Every example matters.

Every lesson matters.

Every act of kindness matters.

The world our children inherit tomorrow depends upon the choices we make today.

So my message is simple:

Stop feeding the Beast.

Do not spread hatred.

Do not spread fear.

Do not encourage division.

Do not teach your children to see enemies everywhere they look.

Instead, teach them to see fellow human beings.

Teach them to see dignity.

Teach them to see possibility.

Teach them to see hope.

The world has enough darkness.

What it needs now is more people willing to become a light for others.

The future belongs to those who choose wisdom over ignorance, compassion over cruelty, and love over fear.

The choice is ours.

The choice has always been ours.

And the time to make that choice is now.
