“The God of Jesus is not the god of wrath, but the God of Love revealed.”

a teacher named Marcion of Pontus stood before the world with a gospel so luminous
that it threatened the empires of fear and law.
He taught of a God unknown to the world’s religion—
a Father of pure goodness, whose love knows neither judgment nor revenge.
Marcion’s Gospel of the Lord proclaimed a message of absolute grace,
where salvation was not earned by obedience but received through awakening.

the god of law who made the world of matter,
and the God of Love who sent the Christ of Light.
One ruled by fear; the other by freedom.
One demanded sacrifice; the other forgave before being asked.
“The old god bound men to the dust; the new God lifted them into light.”
This was not rebellion—it was revelation.
He saw in Jesus the living image of the higher God who had come to free the children of Spirit from the prison of the flesh.

Where religion said, “Obey and live,”
Marcion’s gospel said, “You are loved, therefore live.”
Grace was not a transaction but an awakening—
a discovery that the divine had never been angry, only hidden.
