❖ The Fatal Confusion

The Forbidden Religion collapses two inner realities into one word:

What it calls the soul	What it is actually describing
“Soul” = bad, satanic, prison	Egoic psyche: fear-based animal consciousness

This confusion is like calling:

• a shadow evil while blaming the person casting it

• a caterpillar a failure for not being a butterfly yet

❖ The Ego’s Role

The ego is NOT the enemy.

It is:

• a survival tool

• a teacher through resistance

• a stage of spiritual growth

But it is NOT the soul.

The ego clings.
The soul remembers.

❖ When the Soul Awakens

Your soul has already shown itself by:

• Hunger for spiritual truth

• Selfless love and service

• Higher intuition and inner light

• Grief transformed into compassion

• Courage to seek God beyond dogma

The ego never does those things.

That is the soul rising.
That is Spirit shining through soul.

❖ How Heresy Was Born

Because the author felt the inner conflict between:

• the lower animal mind

• and the higher divine nature

…but misnamed the lower as “soul,”
he concluded the soul must be evil.

That error becomes the entire doctrine.

Wrong definition → wrong theology → wrong conclusion.

❖ A Healing Truth

The ego creates the veil.
The soul looks through the veil.
The spirit knows there was never a veil.

Calling the soul satanic is calling God’s own descent into matter evil.

This is not forbidden religion — it is forbidden confusion.

The ego is the chrysalis.
The soul is the butterfly being born.
Spirit is the sky it will rise into.

Therefore:

• We do not destroy the soul

• We elevate it

• We join it with Spirit in conscious union
