🌙 The Light That Does Not Blind

Not all revelation is sudden like lightning.
Some truths emerge in phases —
like the Moon.

J. Daniel Gunther points out:

Awakening is not a straight line —
it is a cycle that spirals upward.

The Child of the Sun (☉)
must also become child of the Moon:

learning patience
navigating mystery
trusting the unseen
letting darkness teach

The Sun says: “See clearly.”
The Moon says: “Feel deeply.”

Both are Light.

🌑 The Value of Shadow

Old Aeon thinking feared darkness.
But the Child discovers:

Shadow is Light learning how to grow.

Shadow offers:

• hidden potential

• emotional wisdom

• boundaries learned through contrast

• empathy earned in darkness

The Moon teaches:

• Not every doubt is an enemy

• Not every silence is absence

• Not every tear is defeat

From the mud rose the Lotus.
From the night rises the Sun.

🌓 Cycles Are Sacred

The Child learns to:

• Act in daylight

• Reflect in nighttime

• Grow in both

Each phase has purpose:

Phase	Gift
New Moon	Renewal, reset
Waxing Moon	Intention rising
Full Moon	Revelation, manifestation
Waning Moon	Release, rest

The initiate works with cycles,
not against them.

🌙 Reflection Exercise

1. Sit in dim light or near darkness.

2. Hold one hand over your heart.

3. Ask silently:
   “What part of me needs gentleness tonight?”

4. Listen without forcing.

5. Whatever arises — emotion, memory, tension —
   simply whisper:
   “I see you. I accept you.”

Allow the Moon to show you
light hidden inside your shadow.

There were times I fought the dark —
believing only constant shining meant progress.

But now I honor:

• the quiet nights

• the gentle growth

• the moments of not knowing

The Moon teaches me:

Stillness is sacred.
Shadow is a teacher.

May we honor the cycles
that carry our Light.
